Bahá'í Life

This little book will be a collection of short essays and quotations from the Bahá'í
Sacred Writings on the role of prayer and worship in Bahá'í Sacred Writings on the role of
prayer and worship in Bahá'í individual and community life. It will focus on the
Mashriqu'l-Adhkhar (the Dawning-Place) as a central institution of prayer and devotion in
all Bahá'í communities.
STUDIES IN THE BÁBÍ AND BAHÁ'Í RELIGIONS SERIES:
This series is dedicated to the publication of academic essays and
monographs on Bahá'í history and theology. Ten scholarly volumes have already been
published. Two additional volumes are in the works at this time:

Faith on the British Isles.

by Sepehr Manuchehri, will be a collection of three essays on aspects of the

Movement
by Denis MacEoin, will be a full scholarly analysis of early Babi history
from the Shaykhis, Shaykh Ahmad and Sayyid Kazim to the beginnings of the Babi
revelation.
HOLY DAY SERIES:
Kalimát Press is publishing a series of books which provide materials
for the study and celebration of Bahá'í Holy Days. Seven of these books are already
available: A Feast for the Soul, Naw-Rúz: New Day, Days of Ridván, The Passing of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, The Ascension of
Bahá'u'lláh, Martyrdom of the Báb, and Twin Holy
Days. In addition, two more books will be
published:
Ayyám-i Há and the Fast.
This will be a fun book, providing ideas for
celebrating the Bahá'í Intercalary Days (February 26-March 1)-including games, recipes,
crafts, etc. It will also include a section on the Bahá'í Fast.
Day of the Covenant.
This Bahá'í Holy Day is dedicated to
'Abdu'l-Bahá and came about as a result of the pleadings of the American Bahá'ís, who
wanted a day to remember their Master. This book will include photos and stories about
'Abdu'l-Bahá, as well as readings on his station as the Center of the Covenant.
